Connie Fox, ArmorPark Program Manager/Underwriter

Connie Fox is a specialty program underwriter at U.S. Risk in Orange County, California. She has extensive insurance experience—both standard-market and surplus-lines—in placing challenging classes of business, especially auto-related lines of coverage. Throughout her career, Connie has focused on tough casualty business—in particular a custom underwriting program for parking and valet companies, as well as transportation-related accounts like fixed-route transit buses, airport shuttles, non-EMT, and trucking.

Her extensive involvement in the parking-risk community over the years includes the founding of a purchasing group (a large number of illustrious members of the parking industry sat on its board), development of underwriting forms and programs, creation of webinar training and risk-control tools, writing and speaking engagements relating to the industry, and memberships in key industry associations.

Connie began her insurance career at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (now Allianz), starting in claims, then moving to the rating division, and finally earning her way to a senior underwriter position. She eventually gravitated to the Surplus Lines side of insurance because of its challenging and unique risk-placement opportunities.

While with another national wholesaler, Connie created and developed her highly successful valet and parking operators program, which she brought with her to U.S. Risk. Today, she continues to administer this exclusive program on a nationwide basis.
